Note: We'd prefer attendees of this event to have attended at least one RHoK hack weekend before. Ideation nights are pretty frantic, so there's no time to actually explain the RHoK process, and we're trying to put the focus of this evening on thinking of something small enough to be done within a hack weekend - naturally that's hard to do if you've never been to one!
If you've never been to a RHoK before we'd still love to see you at Team Forming Night on May 31! This is where we'll actually explain how RHoK works and the changemakers, having been through ideation, will be able to give a proper pitch on what they want to achieve :)
The ideation evening is where changemakers determine how they might how they might use technology to solve their challenges. Together with small teams of 3-4 skilled technologists, designers or business experts, they thrash things out in a really informal and casual environment. There'll be some brainstorming, but the central goal for the night is to reduce each changemaker's idea to a plan for a minimum viable product, small enough to be implemented in a weekend that will help solve their problem in some way, even if it doesn't solve it completely yet.
We will provide food, drink and all the stuff you need to make the ideas happen. All we need from you is to come down and contribute your brainpower to getting some brilliant ideas launched. Please note that we will not be coding at this event! This is an ideation session only. Drinks and chat from 5:30, main event starts at 6pm!
